Recently, Prof. Fan Luo, head of the Nursing Department of the First Hospital of Lanzhou University was invited to the 33rd International Week of the Faculty of Social Work and Health at Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, themed “Urban Futures: Health and Social Sustainability.” She delivered a keynote report and participated in multiple academic discussions, showcasing the hospital's nursing research achievements.
Prof. Fan Luo gave online lectures for undergraduate students in social work and nursing on disaster nursing, psychological trauma intervention, and mental disorders in social work. She also engaged in cross-disciplinary exchanges with scholars from Germany, South Africa, India, the US, and Turkey, focusing on health-oriented services for the homeless, urbanization and aging, social work and political development, and disaster risk management in nursing and social work. Her special report on disaster equipment configuration strategies highlighted innovations in disaster nursing.
As a result, Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences will deepen cooperation with the First Hospital of Lanzhou University, including joint development of specialized disaster nursing courses and continued academic collaboration in disaster nursing and interdisciplinary fields.
